Agnes er patentadvokat og har doktorgrad i anvendt fysikk. Hun gir råd om immaterielle rettigheter med vekt på patentering, og bistår selskaper med å utarbeide søknad, rettsforfølgelse og administrasjon av disse i Norge og internasjonalt.
Hun har erfaring med å beskytte oppfinnelser som dekker et bredt spekter av felt og bransjer som fysikk, mekanikk, elektronikk, optikk, instrumenterings- og målemetoder, fornybar energi, digitalisering, datamaskinimplementerte løsninger, marine teknologier, havbruk, kraftteknikk.
Før Agnes begynte på IPR-området, har Agnes lang erfaring fra å jobbe i privat sektor, forskningsinstitusjoner og akademia, og forstå disse organisasjonene og virksomhetens behov. Hun hadde flere stillinger ved DNV GL og jobbet med teknologivurdering, klimaendringer og bærekraftsrådgivning, forskning og innovasjon, og sertifisering. Før dette var hun forsker ved Meteorologisk institutt, Norsk institutt for luftforskning og European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN).

As principal consultant, Se delivered of a wide range of advisory, assessment and verification services. Se was responsible of the climate change service line, business development, project deliveries, sales/marketing activities. Agnes focus was on delivering services requiring technical knowledge:
– Assessments, auditing and certification under legal frameworks and accredited standards as well as other voluntary industry standards (ISO standards, European Environmental Trading Scheme, GHG protocol series, Carbon Disclosure Project, Financial Stability Board TCFD).
– Risk assessment, due diligence in acquisition, and business strategy.
– Supporting organizations with assessment and second party opinion in green bonds. Supporting organizations with my technical skills in relation to responsible investment and corporate reporting.
Her assignments required understanding of a broad range of technologies, products, industry processes and supply chains. She presented results in technical reports submitted to clients and authorities. She also worked on developing/commercializing new services, and marketing/sales activities. Working internationally with clients from the private and public sectors, across a wide range of industries such as renewable energy, energy and public infrastructure, shipping, telecommunications, process industry, oil and gas, transport, food and drink, and aquaculture.

Developed DNV GL future services and worked with DNV GL companies for deploying these services in their business operations. Project manager of DNV GL’s strategic partnership with UNEP and United Nations Climate Technology Centre and Network. She was responsible of the partnership day-to-day operations and results on DNV GL side. She also led the contract negotiations that sealed the partnership.

CCS was accredited by the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention of Climate change) to verify projects against the Kyoto Protocol.
As a qualified auditor and verifier, technical reviewer and approver, she assessed emissions of an extensive number of projects. Other aspects included assessing projects’ technology design, investment model, and sustainability compliance.
I was key account manager for CCS largest client, JPMorgan/Ecosecurities, with a portfolio of about 100 projects/year in Latin America, Middle East, Asia and Africa. Clients included businesses and organizations from the banking, industry, power and energy sectors in Norway and abroad, such as JPMorgan, World Bank, Barclays, Statkraft, Equinor, among others. Projects were located primarily in Asia, Africa and Latin America; and covered a wide range of industries (e.g. renewable energies, energy efficiency, biomass, waste and water management, O&G among others). She worked with multidisciplinary and international DNV GL and customer teams, across time zones and under tight deadlines, and traveling to project sites, as well as sales and marketing activities.
